First some moood music.
WEST SIDE, REJOICE.
Sour Cream Hen Houses shall be had once again. Where? The Alibi Room in Culver City.
Please keep in mind that we have a fully operational Kogi kitchen in there, so to prevent ABSOLUTE CHAOS (caps included) we’ll be slowly bringing back classic items and fan favorites, bowl by bowl. Next Tuesday’s debut? The Sour Cream Hen House. And, yes, since it’s a bar, it’s adults only. Got kids? Drive 20 minutes out east and our kid-friendly Chinatown Chego would be happy to have you. When online ordering’s available for the west side, we’ll let you know! In the meantime, we’ll see you next Tuesday, 6/4, yeah? Dinner hours start at 5:30PM and last until midnight, 12236 Washington Blvd., 90066, Mon-Sat. Consider this the new spot for the west side for the time being.
CHEGO CHINATOWN, WE ARE NOT LEAVING YOU OUT OF THE REJOICING.
The TBD this week is the Squish and Destroy sandwich, inspired by the Philly cheesesteaks Roy Papi Chulo Choi lovingly inhaled over the weekend. While there may be no cheese nor steak, there is plenty of the same feeling you get when you’re digging into a hot sandwich in the city of brotherly love.
Our version? Between two crusty, grilled pillows of La Brea Bakery ciabatta bread schmeared with garlic ssamjjang, we give you hot pineapple, charred pork belly, sour cream, herbs and chili. Feel the love. Eat the bromance.

And for those of y’all who missed The Hundreds video last week, I’ll be posting it down here. Thought you knew Chinatown? Prepare for some comfortably close intimacy with some of the most overlooked and under-hyped happy places on this side of town.
Love and ricebowls,
