Wishing You A Very Kogi/Chego Christmas

Look. If he gets mad, it's only cuz he CARES.

Aloha and Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice, Buenos Celebrating The Last Holiday Happy Bits of 2012.  I just wanted to do a quick photo post of our holiday Christmas party and a quick head’s up of possible plans for NYE festivities.  And look, I totally understand that for some people, this post may be as fascinating as that one time that stranger showed you pictures of her dog on her iPhone or that dude you met in line showed you the latest uploads of his baby on his Facebook page.  I get it.  And hey, I judge those people, too.   Sometimes.  But for anyone who’s not feeling particularly Grinch-like and LOVES experiencing moments of holiday-season voyeurism, here’s a brief peak into how Kogi/Chego chose to celebrate its holidays.

Seriously.  Gambling addictions.  This is where it all starts.  You know what these are, people?  Baby slot machines.  Except instead of quarters you get tokens, or instead of tokens, you get tickets.

We also had one of our employees voted as Most Likely To Come Out on Jerry Springer, but when I asked to take her picture while she was receiving her award, she threw a chair and a plate of food at me.  I’m kidding!  Actually, there are actually people out there when, confronted with the prospect of living a completely normal, ordinary, practical and ho-hum lifestyle, they REFUSE.  They just refuse to live that way.  And it’s those people who help make the stories that circulate your everyday lives all the more interesting.  And for that, we are eternally thankful.  And our pick of the year, is Norma Gomez. You’ll see her working Verde nights alongside our Best Hair (the curliest, most epic and luxurious mane you’ll ever witness on this side of L.A.) winner, Verde manager Josue Marroquin.

In any case, we wish you all the best for the remainder of this holiday season and hope you’ll use this time to reconnect with the simplest of things that give your life profound meaning and happy hope.

So, just remember…

BEE TEE DUBS, DUDES…

Much love, tacos and holiday magic,
Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

P.S. For those of y’all who STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FRAK YOU WANT TO DO THIS NYE and have a predilection for red lipstick and noir, I’mma extend the invitation to party with us.
