The Movie Y’aLL Missed: “EL ES AWESOME.”
July 19th, 2011Good lord, it was super fun making this short-short that I know (not even hope, but KNOW) y’all are gonna like!!! It’s too cool NOT to!
SERVING: Feast of Fury from Levi's Film Workshop on Vimeo.
Wasn’t that GREAT??? Lucky for youse, there are no $10-15 admission fees or stale popcorn to contend with to watch it over and over agains. And if you want the semblance of an effect of a slightly darkened theater, you can stroll on over and watch it at papichulotown.com.
“I helped!!”
I did, I really did! ^__^
Fun fact: with the exception of Denny Deluca, all the characters are based off real people. So yes, we have a Jae, a Tulio, an Olimac and an Arturo. And, is it just me, or does the squeeze-bottle-wielding dude playing Arturo look like a super hot Mario Brother? Ay, papi, que guapo. ::fans herself::
Another fun/cool fact is just about everybody involved — all those ninjas, actors and stunt coordinators — did all of this for free-99. So in the spirit of free-99, feel free to share this with all you friends and their respective mothers.
AFTER PARTY OF MUSIC VIDEOS!
1. Pinker Tones – Tokyo. It’s kinda like an updated version of A-HA’s “Take On Me” video except the guy doesn’t/does get the girl. Le siiiiiiiiiigh. I think I’m in love! What a great video! There’s something so very fanboy about it!
2. Bomba Estero – Fuego Reminds me of summer in another country. Oh, wait, IT IS!!!
3. AHA – Take On Me. One more for the road.
Love, tacos and kettle corn,
Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
