Snake in the Grass!!!! Effyesssss…. Thank you magical Kogi elves for bringing this beast out of my dreams and into my stomach! The verde/tomato/jalapeno/shortrib combo comes together almost like a chili. So reminiscent of the Pink 3dog yet so utterly superior in every way. Watch out: this ones MEATY!!! If this doesn’t fill you up a career in competitive eating might be in your future…

Thanks again Kogi, You guys ROCK!

Oh Alice you missed quite a show tonight as I was dancing on the tables @Chego!
But that frivolity stopped as soon as my big bowl of sticky icky south arrived and I was in okra heaven – or at least in the heaven waiting room w/a good back issue of People magazine…Yet even more toothsome was the complimentary taste (courtesy of the equally toothsome Chef Roy) of his “Grub Lox”, which, and I do not say this lightly, was some of the best, lingering on the taste-bud & soul bit of
cured salmon this country boy has ever tasted. Deep, unexpected, fresh flavors and I can’t wait
to try the whole kit & caboodle.
…what? more table dancing you say!

I was lucky to be able to try this weeks special during lunch today. KoGi u have redeemed yourselves in my eyes for running out of last weeks special. There are no words to describe how delicious the Snake in the Grass is. Everything just blends together in one harmonious mess in your mouth. For people looking for something a bit spicy I highly recommend it. Papi I still think you’re a meanie, but your food is utterly amazing. Thank U for one hell of a special.

That burrito is a thing of beauty. I had it for lunch and I’m still thinking about it! The short rib itself with the spiced up verde sauce was amazing in itself but then you bite into the hotdog and it’s like a flavor explosion and then, nothing exists accept this burrito. Now i’m literally depressed because it’s a special and will only lasts this week – 2 more days =*( !??! What will i do?

I’ll see you guys tomorrow at first friday =)!

@george~ it’s good to see u toss the haterade for some Kogi-liciousness. i would be upset too if i went to several trucks in eager expectation to try the oh-so-delicious specials (thx to aliiiice/eric for the posts/pics!!!), only to find out that other people ate them ALL… :( seems like papi stepped in when he saw you being a meanie to eric~ ;) in any case, welcome back!

had the chego scallops last night…holycrapAMAZING!!! any and all hesitation i had as far as mixing strawberries with seafood went out the window the instant the mixture was in my mouth. this and the pork belly bowl were a foodgasmic introduction to the wonder that is chego. the coconut pie was good too–raspberry stuffs heartbreakingly delicious–but my heart and stomach are officially addicted to the spice of the entrees. great job, guys!
