Shortrib Kimchi Quesadilla
April 7th, 2010This old classic was born on a rainy day back in the first few days of Kogi. Someone had called the health dep on us to rain our parade and we had to shut down for 40 minutes while we were inspected. We passed the test, but we felt bad for the people who had stood by and waited with apprehension and anxiety of whether or not we’d serve again. So we decided to give the people something special, and thus, the Shortrib Kimchi Quesadilla was born! Now it’s back again, so get it while it’s here!

Love this truck more and more. Love KOGI more and more. I a m sure I am not the only selfish one who wants yo to be successful, BUT, wants to keep you my little secret as well. LOL. I dont know if I want this one or the chicken chilli one now……..BOTH!

I was there that night in Silverlake and ordered that combination because I wanted a tastier quesadilla! I didn’t know it was a special. I ALWAYS order this. So good!

Kogi one of the few good reasons to live in HELL LA!
Sitting in traffic 2 hours to drive 20 miles sure isn’t a good reason.

Update ** Finally tried this AMAZING Quesadilla last night and it was amazing. I tried the Black Jack and Sweet Chili (which are awesome as well) but this one was EVERYTHING and more. Loved it.

Ha – Finally convinced my all-too cool-for-school/ready to denounce any “trend”etc friend, to just try, just try once from the Kogi truck – he did, this godhead of all quesadilla’s, and he blushingly conceded “dang that was good”..then burped as only one could with delight and carbonation…
Yay, another happy customer – now back to work everybody!

love kogi, but you never come to my area (montebello) why not? the areas you do go to are too far.
