There’s nothing more frustrating than being near the front of the line 2 weeks in a row at opening time, and being told that BOTH the Calimari and Specials of the week are both out of stock.

Where was Azul at lunch today?? I was at Jefferson/Hoover 12:30-1 and didn’t see any trace of Kogi. Didn’t catch a late/no-go tweet either. Majorly bummed!

so today i went to the verde truck in sherman oaks. i asked “hey whats in the (mu)SHROOOM quesdilla???” to which the guy taking orders replied “uuuuh cheese, mushrooms, onions, and short ribs” and i said… oooohkay. yeah ill try one. …………. there was no short rib involved (which i pretty much expected before i asked)….. it had no chinese brocoli stuff… it wasnt the right sauce, AND he over charged me. the only resemblemce this sad cheesey mess held to that delicious looking picture was the mushrooms. not to say it wasnt still pretty yum, cos it was and i still ate the whole thing. but i def was a little bewildered. im not gunna stop following the truck either….. everything else is incred….. >.> … omg *drooooool*………

@cynicalcalifornian Azul lunch was on Jefferson just East of the Hoover junction in front of the Shrine. We sent out a tweet of our location. Due to touch parking and the fact that Azul takes up almost 2 parking spots it is very difficult to be “exactly” on Hoover and Jefferson, but we do try our best to get as close as we can.
