My number one goal everyday as a cook is to bring new exciting flavors to neighborhoods and families with fun ingredients at a low price so it fits with the everyday flow of your life like a candy bar.
All of you out there have become a part of our lives and it inspires me to bring whatever I know about food so it becomes relevant to y’all.
From the 9 year old girls I see in the Kogi line doing kartwheels for 2 hours to abuelos y abuelas waiting to the homies in hoodies to the breezies for sheezies in tight jeans to fathers and mothers, uncles and aunts….this is all for you.
Let’s make food fun, approachable, affordable, delicious and controversial.
Let’s together define what food can be for us and our youth.

I think your fan base is too large to change recipes because one person doesn’t realize that there are FINE ingredients in your food and that those ingredients cost money. I HATE IT when a company cuts back on flavor and quality ingredients to cut prices. It’s never worth it. Your prices are fine.

A friend from the east coast was coming to visit and asked me if I ever heard of you guys. Says he saw you on FOOD NETWORK. You were right on my street the night I picked him up from LAX, but, thats the night ROJA broke down. Since I live here, I followed you on twitter and sure enough you were in NOHO a block from where I live on Wednesday night. Sliders were AMAZING. So were the Tacos. Chicken and Short rib (I couldnt help it) LOL. More NOHO dates please. Have you ever driven through Downtown Burbank? I’m sure my friend will be back and this time we’ll come wherever you are. Now that I’ve tasted the food, it’s well worth the trip. Love the concept.

I’m very sorry for your disappointment. Due to the holiday weekend, we are unfortunately working a little short on staff. Traditionally, the week of Christmas has been slow with companies in crunch mode trying to make deadlines and transplants catching flights to go back home, so we were quite surprised to see such a large amount of people waiting for us in Glendale.

To those of you who came out for us this afternoon, thank you. For your efforts, we will do everything we can to prepare for our next visit to Glendale.

I’ve been hearing about Kogi for months now! So I went to drive from Ktown (just imagine the traffic) I got there at noon and they were already closing the line! sucks! I so badly wanted quesadillas! Grrrr!

I got there at 12:35 and I couldnt even buy a burrito anymore cause they said the line was closed! There were only about 30 people in line. I came all the way from West Covina too!
